1st Neighbor Helping Neighbor Event
This was our first unofficial Neighbor Helping Neighbor Event! For several days, I helped Elisabeth and Shaun prep and paint a couple of rooms of Shaun's new home, while teaching them some of my tricks and tips to get a nice finish.
A good paint job is always in the upfront prep work, and the prep ALWAYS takes longer than you think it will! If you take your time, get rid of mars (like drips of paint), caulk where needed (look for areas where there are gaps between the wall and the trim or base board), keep a utility knife on had with a sharp blade, and use some good paint and a nice brush, you can transform a room, or your home, into a place where you want to spend your time.
Looking forward to the next Neighbor Helping Neighbor Event!
